Preparation based on chestnut honey harvested in Périgord and black garlic.

Black garlic is the result of a very slow caramelization of white garlic cloves following a long maturation in a humid oven (Maillard reaction). It is a mild condiment - with a balsamic flavor for some, licorice or prune for others - very popular in Japan for its virtues and umami. The brand has combined it with the malty and woody notes of chestnut honey.

Use as a chutney or onion compote:

  • as a condiment with your meats (chicken skewers, duck breast, etc.)
  • with roasted vegetables, pan-fried mushrooms
  • to accompany your cheeses
