Furikake is a mixture of seaweed and roasted/salted sesame seeds then reduced to powder. It was invented during World War II to add to the rice bowl of Japanese sailors. Very popular in Japan, there are lots of different flavors. This furikake is produced with roasted sesame in soy sauce, sea lettuce and sansho berries to bring that tangy freshness that is so characteristic. It is additive free.

It can of course be sprinkled on rice but also with tofu, grilled fish, meat, yakisoba and other pasta dishes or even pizza! Flavour: Fresh, lemony, with a nice length in the mouth and a balance between citrus and seaweed iodine.

Composition: sorganic esame (90.5%), organic soy sauce (3.5%), sansho pepper (3%), salt (2%), aosa seaweed ( 1%)
