Bucatini (also called perciatelli) are of Roman origin, have an elongated shape with a round section and are perforated inside.
The Bucatini all'Amatriciana, with tomato sauce and pork cheek, is famous, but this rather versatile form is also excellent with vegetable sauces prepared with tomato sauce and the addition of peppers, aubergines, courgettes, olives and capers.
