This smoked chilli comes from the Extremadura region of Spain, specifically in La Vera. This powder has a very special characteristic because the chilli is not dried in the sun, but in the traditional way, by burning oak logs to acquire an unmistakable smoky flavor.
This paprika is slightly spicy and goes very well with scrambled eggs or on avocados.
