Sumac

Sumac is a Middle Eastern spice that, in addition to giving flavor, has incredible medicinal properties. It is a little less well known than zaatar but just as addictive. It is obtained from dried brick-red berries with a fruity and sour taste.

An alternative to lemon and vinegar to sprinkle on an avocado toast. Natural flavor enhancer, it is a very good substitute for salt/lemon and much healthier.
